Hi everyone.

I felt one object was missing in the housing so I decided to build it myself : a Piano :-) (galactic one with 10 octaves)

In terms of numbers, about 40 gold, it is 758 objects including mostly 2x4 timber beams, Chua cups for the inside buttons, and a lot of books for the keyboard and the strings alongside with some other items. I spent about 8-9 hours overall in the last three Betas to build it and I hope it would inspire you and show you that this housing system has almost infinite possibilities. Hope you'll enjoy it ;-)

If you want to visit it as pictures are screenshots directly shot from the game, my pseudo is : Tei and I am on Cassus server, so invite me to be your neighbour ;-)

Can you connect all the pieces to that so you can move it or do you have to build it where you want it?

You can in fact link items together to be able to move a decoration constructed of multiple items like this as one piece, though I do not know if Dên did this for theirs. I imagine it would be something you would want to do as you create it, rather than try to sort it out after the fact. That said, moving a linked group can prove....tricky...at times. I seem to recall trying to click-drag a linked group in a particular direction and some of it rotated oddly as a result, so work slowly and carefully!

You win. That is by far the best thing built in housing. I can't even imagine the time it took you to get the details right on that.

758 objects, oh wow..

I guess what is the use of other decor when you got a piano, right? :D

Amazingly beatifully done - I want to see more 'projects' from you! :D

What we need now is a system that lets us save linked items as a wohle new item in our crate.

Thanks for the compliments guys, really appreciated :-)

As Kaeret said, it is possible to link everything but it is quite tricky in the sense that linking few objetcs (10-20 for instance) would be fine, but when it comes to 758 objetcs lol, it needs to be done while constructing and it is not the most intuitive linking system ever so unfortunately, the piano pieces are not linked so it will remain at this position, braving wind and fire...probably not the wipe though :-). However, it is possible to do it and when I will redo a piano after the release or another crazy object, I will take the time to link everything most probably.

That being said, and if a Dev pops around, it would be amazing to have an interface list where we can see what is link to what, so it would be much easier. And the idea to be able to transform a bunch of object into one is a great idea also ;-)! would give me few more slots to implement a bed at least :-)

And yep Nashor hehe just need a bed and a piano to be happy I guess lol

This link offers a proper response to the amount of effort you've applied to one item.

Now, for some real fun, put some large teeth in it somehow. I'm sure we all know which piano I'm talking about.
